To start either April 2019 or September 2018, ACE Schools Multi Academy Trust are seeking to appoint an exceptional, dynamic and inspirational Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher for ACE Schools Plymouth Alternative Provision Academy. These positions require a proven track record of successful school leadership to lead us through an exciting period of development and change.
This is an excellent opportunity to take on a truly unique role, leading the management of an Alternative Provision Academy that is currently across 12 sites in and around Devon and Cornwall. The current service provides for young people who have been permanently excluded or may have challenging and complex medical, emotional, psychiatric or behavioural barriers.
Our key priorities are to reintegrate young people to mainstream education, to develop an early intervention offer for secondary schools and to ensure a solid and sustainable transition to post–16 education. The main focus of the Academy lies in promoting positive behaviour and attitudes to learning for students who are currently having difficulty, at risk of exclusion, or may have challenging and complex medical, emotional, psychiatric or behavioural barriers.
