All secondary age pupils have a time tabled lesson called Sp@ce, primary pupils have the same opportunities in their weekly programme. This is held in their tutor group with their academic lead teacher and mentor. The aim is to build on the regular target setting and review process at ACE by building time to discuss behavioural, attendance and academic progress. Pupils have time to explore the key skills to develop employability skills of leadership, organisation, initiative, resilience and communication through our Edge programme.
Pastoral leads will be arranging assemblies and group activities in Sp@ce time, to give time for reflection and thought on a range of spiritual and moral issues. These will complement the wide range of external speakers and visitors who help ACE provide a wider view of Life in Modern Britain.
